Located on the front of the camera body, Mark II Mark III etc may be separate but is always on the front (Img. Body Canon).
Serial Numbers:
Serial numbers are on a sticker on the base of the camera. (Img. Body Sony – Serial)
Lenses
Model Numbers:
Located at the top of most lenses on a ring around the front element (Img. Lens Canon 1), or on a band around the front of the lens near the top of the lens or middle of the body. (Img. Lens Canon 2)
Serial Numbers:
Located on a band around the front of the lens. (Img. Lens Canon Serial 1) Or lower towards the base of the lens. (Img. Lens Canon Serial 2)

Located on the top plate of every Sony camera on the left-hand side, near the back of the camera. (Img. Body Sony).

We are currently unable to despatch items overseas, or repair goods shipped from outside the UK. Please do not send repairs to Fixation from other countries while this notice is in place. Completed repairs must be delivered to a mainland UK addresss, or collected from Fixation in London or Fixation in Manchester, or any Wex store in the UK.
